What is Barium Hydroxide?

Barium hydroxide is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Ba(OH)2. It is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water and ethanol, and easily soluble in dilute acid. It is mainly used to make special soaps and pesticides. It is also used for hard water softening, beet sugar refining, boiler descaling, glass lubrication, etc.

Barium hydroxide can be dried using a vacuum rake dryer. Barium hydroxide vacuum rake dryer is a device suitable for drying barium hydroxide, with the following characteristics:

Working principle: The vacuum rake dryer mainly dries the material by indirect heating. The heating medium (such as water vapor or hot water) heats the material through the jacket and the stirring shaft, and the moisture in the wet material is evaporated by the heat and then pumped away by the vacuum system, thereby achieving the drying effect.

Scope of application: The equipment is suitable for drying slurry, paste, and other materials, especially for drying heat-sensitive materials, easily oxidized, explosive, highly irritating, and highly toxic materials.

Equipment features: The vacuum rake dryer has a closed drying environment, no dust flying, and is equipped with a stirrer to heat the material evenly. It is suitable for all materials that need vacuum drying (except for materials that require particle surface finish).
